Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies on the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency stated it's alarmed in regards to the substantial variety of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The purpose on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some high amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office focused on service the area regularly. The provider point designed for intervention experiences a substantial inflow of prospective beneficiaries, that website makes it complicated for the office to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this sassa status check reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more methods to empower the servicing of all prospects and maximize access to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
